I came to know about Samya Foundation and DMT madam (as my daughter calls her) Dr.Aditi Bandyopadhyay, when I already spent twenty years with Autism. DMT is an unique format of therapy where the trainer through music, beats and rhythmic body movement train the child to keep calm and organized. The format is so unique that it (1) helps in lowering the overall stressful challenges during the day, (2) provide periodic breaks to escape and rebound. The child learns to imitate (generally speaking imitation and autism are mutually exclusive) in a stress free environment where the child feel safe, accepted unconditionally and competent.
