Mothers’ Meet
This is a part of SAMYA Foundation’s community outreach program. Services are offered at completely free of cost, for empowering mothers so that they can provide continuous support to their children at home. Learnings from different workshops and training programs are shared and knowledge imparted. Mothers have a good time as they get to learn, share and enjoy some light refreshments.
Classes for Mothers’ Meet are mostly taken by Dr. Aditi Bandyopadhyay. We are grateful to our guest speakers Ms Rituparna Sarkar ( educationist), Dr. Animita Saha ( Physician of Internal Medicine), Mr. Sayomdeb Mukherjee ( disability advocate, author, radio anchor & resource person from Enable India) and Mr. Subhendu Moulick ( occupational therapist), who have given their time and effort to train our parents.

We have trained mother’s and parents on different intervention techniques that can be practised at home.

We plan to start this service in rural and suburban areas of West Bengal very soon.
